Computer vendor looks to stimulate sales by slashing prices

Cooler Master cuts prices

Component vendor Cooler Master has become the latest firm to respond to falling sales by lowering its prices.

“We have been monitoring the overall economy and decided to take bold action to stimulate consumer interest,” a spokesman told the Inquirer.

“Naturally, over the last two quarters, improvements in manufacturing efficiency would have led to a lower price for end users on many of our products.

“Unfortunately, the global economy caused a massive increase in the value of the dollar and the street price has not moved the way we originally expected.”
