MSI’s U, Ultra and gaming series on display at Computex

Computex 2012: MSI showcases an array of notebooks and laptops

Computex 2012 sees MSI displays its ‘highly mobile’ U series, the new Ultra laptop series, and the latest generation of its gaming notebooks.

This year’s event has seen MSI unveil its all-new Wind U180 and Wind U270 laptops, which the company describes as a must-have if high mobility is a priority.

The Wind U180 comes with Intel’s latest generation Cedar Trail platform with an ATOM N2800 processor.

The Wind U270 features AMD’s new dual core Brazos 2.0 processor, which supports DirectX 11.

MSI’s new Ultra laptop series was also on show, which comprises of the Slider S20 and the X460DX. The series supports new generation Bluetooth and USB 3.0 transfer technologies.

The Slider S20 comes with Intel’s Chief River GULV processor, HDMI slot, USB 3.0, and Bluetooth.

The X460DX features an Intel Core i5 processor and Nvidia GeForce GT630 graphics card. It also supports the latest DirectX 11 for powerful graphics performance.

Along with all this, MSI rolled out the GT60, GT70, GE60, and GE70; its latest generation of gaming notebook computers at Computex 2012.

The series features the third generation Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia graphics card. Included is professional sound technology, keyboards designed specifically for gamers, and accelerated internet connecting technology.
