Birmingham store wins for service and for actually stocking a touchscreen PC

Comet comes top in Mystery Shopper

Comet took the top spot in this month’s Mystery Shopper, when PCR headed to Birmingham in search of a touchscreen PC.

The store scored an impressive eight out of ten and was one of only two shops visited that actually stocked touch-enabled machines.

PCR awarded points for the sales assistant’s knowledge and level of service.

“I was impressed with his knowledge as he didn’t seem to be reading from any literature,” our Shopper said. “The member of staff didn’t fully understand the system, but called a colleague.”

The Shopper added: “I felt, had I really been in the market for a touchscreen PC, I may have actually purchased one.”

Closely behind Comet came Tek Zone (Selfridges) in second place, and PC World in third.
