Gaming Marketplace will showcase innovations from mobile gaming to PCs and consoles

CES 2015 Gaming Marketplace to grow by 30%

Next year’s CES will see the show’s Gaming Marketplace cover 14,500 net square feet, an increase of more than 30 per cent compared to CES 2014.

The Gaming Marketplace will showcase leading innovations from mobile gaming to PCs and consoles, including gaming hardware, software and accessories.

“Today, gaming takes place across a myriad of devices. Even as consoles have evolved into multifunctional, multimedia gateways, the explosive growth in gaming is largely fuelled by the sales of mobile devices globally and consumers’ desire to play games whenever and wherever they choose,” said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, International CES and corporate business strategy.

“The Gaming Marketplace at the 2015 CES will showcase the full spectrum of gaming innovations, and provide a unique opportunity to glimpse into the future of this immersive industry.”

The Gaming Marketplace isn’t the only section of the show that will increase in size next year. In June, the CEA revealed that the 3D Printing Marketplace at CES 2015 will double in size compared to this year.

It will feature more than 30 companies showcasing the latest advancements in 3D printing technology.

CES 2015 takes place on January 6th-9th in Las Vegas Nevada.
