Distributor Computer 2000 will be lead sponsor of the MacWorld Awards, which take place later this month in London.
The company is being supported by five of its key partners at the event – Be.ez, Kensington, The Joy Factory, X-mini, and one of its latest signings, Tactus – the leading player in ruggedized Apple cases.
Romain Derrien, category manager of mobile accessories at Computer 2000, said: “This unique showcase is the ideal way for us to demonstrate our commitment to serving the needs of our customers in the fast-moving and ever-changing Apple market. We have a great line-up of high quality vendors supporting us at the MacWorld Awards and customers can find a great selection from these and many more leading names on our Eden website.
The opportunity with Apple accessories is growing in all sectors, Derrien noted. “Retailers are giving more space to Apple accessories and corporate and education sales of Apple add-ons are booming as well. We can offer strong support in all of these channels and a product range that addresses the broadest range of needs across the Mac, the iPad and the iPhone ranges. With all this, Computer 2000 is now a real one-stop shop for all Apple accessories – there is simply no need to go anywhere else.”
Tactus is the latest addition to Computer 2000’s growing line-up of Apple accessories. The company is renowned for its high quality cases for iPads and iPhones, which includes the best-selling MagnaTuff collection.
Computer 2000 has added more than six new vendors to its Mac accessories portfolio, extending the choices and options it is able to offer customers. New additions since the start of the year have included Griffin, Cellularline and Powerseed, as well as Xmini, Be.ez and The Joy Factory.
Now in their 18th year, the MacWorld Awards recognise the stars of the Mac world – and especially the products that have made the most significant contribution to the Apple industry in the past year. The awards take place at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington on 20th June 2013.
