According to a new report by CompTIA, 55 per cent of businesses are seeing IT skills improving.
These results are an improvement on the same survey that was carried out two years who, revealing 48 per cent were seeing improvements.
“The real way to improve the pipeline of talent to the UK channel is to implement proper collaboration with academia to create courses that are applicable to industry requirements and can evolve at the same pace as technological advancement,” said Mike Brooman, director at IT consultancy, Vanti.
IT Channel Expert recently reported that a new Workforce Survey from the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) revealed that two-thirds of businesses believe computer literacy and IT knowledge are key skills when hiring new employees.
