Printer vendor Brother UK has appointed Clear Marketing Communications to handle its consolidated brand strategy and offline advertising account after incumbent TBWA Manchester failed to retain the account.
The agency will be aiming to fulfil Brother UK’s remit of growing the vendor’s SME and SOHO markets while maintaining the firm’s reputation among IT buyers.
The north England agency joins the firm’s digital agency Code Computerlove, PR support firm CityPress and media planning and buying agency MediaVest.
Speaking about the appointment, Brother UK’s sales and marketing director Phil Jones said: "Brother is strengthening its communications to meet new challenges in a very competitive, product-driven market and to grow market share, particularly in the colour printer sector; and we’ve chosen a quartet of Manchester partners to deliver harder hitting campaigns targeting business and trade communities.
"Clear Marketing met our objectives for strategy-driven creativity, which will give us stand out in a cluttered marketplace."
