Best Buy has opened its UK web store today, offering its portfolio and services over the internet for the first time.
The retailer is aiming to bring the level of advice offered by its staff to its online portal, featuring over 350 ‘advice and inspiration’ articles as well as product and service information – some of which will be deployed over the next few weeks.
In addition to this, the retailer is teaming up with independent customer review publisher Reevoo to bring reviews from previous purchasers of products to the website.
“The launch of our e-commerce store at BestBuy.co.uk marks a key milestone for the business and helps to make buying technology simple, inspiring and tailored to each of our customers. We are very excited that customers from across the UK will now be able to experience the Best Buy brand for the first time,” commented Best Buy UK’s managing director for online, DeVere Forster.
