Asus unveils new ZenBook UX305 laptop

Asus has launched its latest edition to the ZenBook portfolio with the UX305 laptop.

The new device features an IPS anti-glare display with a 1920×1080 resolution, while its Intel Core M processor helps to deliver faster processor speeds.

It comes equipped with a 128GB solid-state disk and a battery life of up to 10 hours.

With Asus’ thermal management design removing the need for cooling fans, the laptop remains cool, plus its combination of a SATA 6Gbit/s SSD and 8GB of RAM help to provide users with faster speeds.

The ZenBook’s chassis is 12.3mm thin and weighs 1.2kg, making the form factor more portable.

Bang and Olufsen technology and Asus’ SonicMaster audio, which incorporates ICEpower, also help to deliver clear sound.

A touchpad with Smart Gesture support and a backlit full-size keyboard come with the ZenBook, and will cost £649.99.

This news comes after Asus revealed its new Transformer Book Chi series and two ZenFones at CES 2015.

The Transformer Book Chi comes in three sizes, while the two new ZenFone’s both featuring a 13MP camera.
