Apple’s Black Friday deals go live in UK

Apple has brought the US tradition of Black Friday to its UK customers, offering discounts on a number of its products.

In the US, thousands of retailers discount their prices the day after Thanksgiving, causing a frenzy of shoppers to line the streets looking for a Christmas bargain.

In recent years the trend has made its way across the pond, and Apple has followed suit by slashing the prices of its products in-store and online.

Offers include £81 off MacBook Pros with Retina display, a saving of £15 on iPod touch 4th gens, and £21 off the iPad 2.

Amazon is another retail giant that has brought the idea of Black Friday to the UK, but rather than being content with one day of sales, Amazon’s Black Friday started on Monday 19th and will run until Sunday 25th.

Those who brave the streets to find a bargain but fail, can rest assured that they still have Cyber Monday on November 26th, which is said to be the busiest day of the year for online shopping.
