Vendor in legal trouble over hairline cracks in ever popular device

Apple sued over iPhone

Apple has been dealt another lawsuit over its iPhone, this time concerning a problem with hairline cracks on the device.

The suit, filed by a New York district court, asserts that Apple is not doing enough to address the problem.

"Although Apple was and is aware that the iPhones were and are defective, and that consumers have experienced repeated instances of cracked housing, Apple has nevertheless allowed the defectively designed iPhones to be sold to the public," read the complaint.

This follows previous lawsuits regarding the claims of its internet access speeds and some applications.
