Apple is planning to release multiple versions of its smartwatch, which will have more than ten sensors.
WSJ reports that the iWatch will come in multiple screen sizes. People familiar with the matter told the publication that shipments of the smartwatches are estimated to total between ten and 15 million units by the end of this year.
The device is expected to have multiple sensors, including ones to track health and fitness.
The iWatch is rumoured to be announced in October along with Apple’s next flagship smartphone – the iPhone 6.
Other spec rumours for the iWatch include a curved screen, wireless charging, and solar power.
Analyst Keith Bachman recently suggested that ten per cent of the 335 million currently active iPhone users would purchase an Apple smartwatch by the end of 2015.
