Updated website offers numerous environmental reports on Apple products

Apple exposes environmental data

Apple has revealed new information detailing the environmental impact of its products.

The firm’s website has been updated with four new pages that, to an extent, outlines its broad environmental policy.

The company is offering individual environmental reports across its entire product range, which can be found here.

Naturally, the Californian company has presented the data in a flattering light, having published it internally and without the use of an independent body.

“The way our products are manufactured, used, and recycled represents the largest percentage of Apple’s total greenhouse gas emissions,” said the group. “That’s why we design them for better environmental performance.”

Apple’s new web-page covers a range of issues, from energy efficiency to substance use, carbon emissions, material use and recycling policies.
