Andy Bass to lead Lenovo?s SMB and Channel business

Lenovo has appointed industry veteran Andy Bass as director of SMB and Channel for the UK and Ireland.

Bass has 25 years of experience in the industry, working in both distribution and at leading hardware vendors, including Toshiba. At Lenovo, he will be responsible for driving sales of Lenovo PC, tablet, server and storage products across the channel. In addition, he is tasked will driving business partner growth and expanding our SMB customer base.

“The channel is the cornerstone of business in the UK and Ireland. As we pursue our ambitions to drive increased growth within the channel, we are pleased to have announced such an important addition to our team,” commented David McQuarrie, vice president and general manager North and UKI at Lenovo.

Bass will report to McQuarrie at Lenovo’s UK office in Hook.
