Eighth consecutive loss making quarter for newly restructured firm

AMD reports softening of revenues

AMD has reported shrinking earnings for the last quarter and projects no growth for the current one.

This is the eighth consecutive quarter that the company has been forced to report a loss in revenues, CEO Dirk Meyer has predicted that the next quarter will see flat growth.

After a significant restructuring in recent weeks, the firm says that it is on par to return to the black in the first quarter of 2009.
