Online retailer Amazon has scrapped free delivery for orders less than £10 in certain product categories.
Customers will now have to spend a minimum £10 to qualify for Free Super Saver Delivery going forwards.
However, books, video games, DVDs, Blu-rays and software products priced less than £10 will continue to qualify for free delivery.
For example, an order that includes a book for £3.49 and an HDMI cable for £4.49 will still come with free delivery. Smaller IT products like cards, cables and accessories may be affected by the change.
"Whilst the change will affect only a very small proportion of orders, it will allow us to offer you a significantly expanded selection of lower priced products," said Amazon in a statement.
Customers can still use Amazon Prime to receive ‘One Day’ delivery on all items for an annual fee of £49.
