Etail giant announces two new service plans

Amazon offers unlimited cloud storage to Cloud Drive customers

Amazon has announced unlimited cloud storage with Amazon Cloud Drive – and two new storage plans for customers.

Users can choose from either the Unlimited Photos Plan or Unlimited Everything Plan. The former costs $11.99 per year and lets customers store an infinite number of photos, and includes 5GB of additional storage for videos or other documents and files.

The Unlimited Everything Plan costs $59.99 per year and lets customers store an unlimited number of photos, videos, files, documents and movies. A free three-month trial is available for both plans.

"Most people have a lifetime of birthdays, vacations, holidays and everyday moments stored across numerous devices and they don’t know how many gigabytes of storage they need to back all of them up," said Josh Petersen, Director of Amazon Cloud Drive.

"With the two new plans we are introducing today, customers don’t need to worry about storage space – they now have an affordable, secure solution to store unlimited amounts of photos, videos, movies, music, and files in one convenient place."

Amazon Prime members and Fire device owners who already have unlimited photo storage can sign up to the Unlimited Everything Plan to store videos and files as well as photos.
