Amazon has created 6,000 new full-time positions in Europe in 2014, with the majority in Britain.
The new jobs have been created in logistics centers, customer service, software development, supply chain management and design.
The positions come in response to high customer demand, especially in Europe.
Xavier Garambois, Amazon VP for EU retail, said: “We are still in a phase of investment and look forward to being able to fill more positions in 2015."
Amazon said that around 1,200 of the jobs were in Germany, while Britain had the next most new positions available.
This news comes after Amazon launched a food service last year, rivalling the likes of Just Eat and Grubhub.
The platform from the etailer will charge directly to the users Amazon account.
