Take a tour of the Discovery flight deck

Using rotational cameras with ultra wide-angle lenses, gives space fans the chance to see inside the Space Shuttle Discovery’s flight deck.

Taken during decommissioning in the Obiter Processing Facility last year, shot a series of full 360 degree spherical panoramic images which were then used to build a photographic ‘virtual reality’ style tour of the flight deck.

“Having an immersive virtual panorama allows your audience to be immersed in a seamless 360 degree visual environment that offers far more contextual information than a series of static images or a linear video clip for the same amount of downloadable bandwidth,” reads the 360vr site.
