Acer’s recent drive for consumer sales appears to be paying off, according to our frontline sales charts.
Oursales figures, which are gathered by talking to retailers around the UK to find out what their top selling products are, show that the top selling desktop is Acer’s X1300 quad-core home entertainment centre PC.
Meanwhile in the laptop segment, it performs even better, occupying the top three spots, with the Aspire 5536, 7535 and 5338 respectively. All three emphasise HD performance and feature integrated AMD chipsets.
The vendor aims to be the top global PC vendor by 2012, and hopes to maintain its position as the UK’s number one.
