Shipping on the same day Microsoft’s Windows 8 is released, Acer’s Iconia W700 will start at $799.
The new tablet will come in three variants ranging in price from $799 to $999, depending on hardware configuration.
The Iconia W700 runs Windows 8, has an 11.6-inch 1920x1080 touchscreen, and comes with a cradle and keyboard.
The cradle supports angels of 20-70 degrees and can hold the tablet vertically as well as horizontally. The keyboard connects to the tablet via Bluetooth.
Weighing 2.09 pounds, Acer’s new tablet is under an inch thick and has a battery like of up to 9 hours.
All three versions will have Intel HD Graphics 4000 with 128MB RAM and 4GB of DDR3 RAM.
The Acer Iconia W700-6607 comes with an Intel Core i3-3317U 1.8GHz Processor, while the W700-6465 and the W700-6691 will both have an Intel Core i5-3317U 1.7GHz Processor with Turbo Boost up to 2.6GHz.
All tablets will have one USB 3.0, one Micro-HDMI, and a 5mp 1080p rear-facing camera.
