Referring to the computer's rounded and glossy case, the vendor claimed that the “gemstone” design was naturally inspired, reported The Register.

Loaded with Intel's Santa Rosa Centrino Duo platform, the laptops come with a range of Core 2 Duo processors, Intel's 802.11n-compatible Wi-Fi card and up to 2GB of DDR 2 memory clocked to 667MHz, 80-200GB of hard drive storage, a five-in-one card reader, ExpressCard 54 slot, Firewire port, four USB ports, and a choice of a HD DVD drive or DVD burner. The higher end models also feature Intel's TurboMemory Flash cache.

Graphics wise, it comes with Nvidia's GeForce 8600M GT graphics chip with 256MB of dedicated graphics memory. The laptop has a 15.4-inch 1280 x 800 widescreen display and a HDMI port for connection to a HDTV.

Two stereo speakers and an on-board sub-woofer are powered by Dolby Home Theatre technology, while the two included microphones are arranged in such a way to aid noise reduction.
