Lisa Carter steps up as brand looks ahead to bigger and better PCR Awards and Boot Camp in 2013

A new publisher for PCR

PCR has appointed a new publisher, heading up a stronger, more focused sales and editorial team.

Lisa Carter has taken over full responsibility of the brand, driving editorial and commercial development, plus event management and bespoke solutions for the numerous business partners of PCR and other Intent Media brands.

Carter has worked on PCR as managing editor since the magazine was launched nine years ago and has worked across many of Intent Media’s other publications, including MCV, BikeBiz, Toy News, Licensing.biz and Musical Instrument Professional.

Carter’s promotion to publisher comes following a reorganisation of the team earlier this year: Helen French replaced Andrew Wooden as editor, with Matt Grainger assisting as deputy editor. In turn, they are supported by staff writers Laura Barnes and Greg Lockley. Meanwhile, Florence Beaumont has recently joined the team as sales executive, reporting to account manager Rob Baker and executive sales manager Carly Bailey.

As well as driving the PCR brand forward, Carter will be looking to develop and strengthen associated events for the title going forward.

”Lisa taking this management role on PCR completes a strengthening of the team ahead of further development for both brands,” said Intent Media managing director Stuart Dinsey.

“We are steaming towards 2013 with stronger reach than ever across print, online and social media.”
