Entanet has been recognised for its commitment to best practice people management and development by achieving Investors in People accreditation at Silver Standard.
The wholesale provider of full fibre communications services achieved the internationally recognised accreditation, which supports the continuous improvement of people management and development, at the first time of being assessed.
The assessment involved an online staff survey conducted independently by IIP, which had a high response rate of 87%, as well as individual and group interviews conducted by an IIP assessor across all parts of the business to determine how staff see Entanet as an employer.
“Our Investors in People Silver accreditation is a clear indication of our commitment to ensuring Entanet is a fantastic place to work and building on our industry reputation as an employer of choice,” said Tim Roberts, HR Manager for Entanet.
“Entanet’s aim is be the one and only connectivity service provider that a UK channel partner wants to work with and a crucial part of this process is ensuring we have a highly skilled and motivated team that are focused on putting the needs of our customers first.”
In achieving the accreditation, particular praise was given to Entanet’s regular sharing of business information with all employees and the way staff progression is encouraged through skills and knowledge matrices.
Feedback from the full Investors in People report is now being incorporated into Entanet’s continuous business improvement process with the aim of achieving the Gold standard in its next assessment.
