Following on from its success in North America, Qumulo is launching in the EMEA region. Bringing its first and only file storage system that runs at scale in the data center and the Cloud, Qumulo and HPE have extended their partnership to deliver File Fabric to existing HPE customers.
The move to EMEA comes three years after Qumolo debuted in North America. Identified as a visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Distributed File and Object Storage, Qumolo is launching operations in the EMEA region as it works to revolutionise data storage for European enterprises. The US headquartered company, which is on track to more than double its year-on-year growth, will launch Europe’s first and only file-based storage system that runs in the data centre and the cloud at scale.
Qumulo File Fabric (QF2) is now available to EMEA businesses. QF2 is a modern, highly scalable file storage system that runs in the data center and in the public cloud. It enables businesses to store, manage and access file-based data with no practical limits on the number or size of files. It provides the highest performance and low cost compared with legacy storage solutions. QF2 also provides businesses with the ability to monitor their data in real-time, gain control and visibility, and lessen the administrative burden of managing the data footprint at scale.
The company has appointed Thore Rabe and Stefan Radtke to lead the EMEA region. Thore will serve as Qumulo’s Vice President, EMEA, while Stefan will serve as technical director. Thore previously held the position of EMEA Vice President of Dell EMC Isilon and Stefan previously served as EMEA CTO at the same company, so both come with bags of experience.

Qumulo will open offices in the UK and Germany to service market demand. It will also open a 24/7 support centre in the UK to accompany the existing centres it has across two-time zones in the US.
