Overclockers drops the beat with Overwatch-themed Titan Tracer PC

Overclockers UK has Overwatch players in its sights.

The retailer is selling a desktop gaming PC which is designed to run and themed around the game of the moment – Blizzard’s first-person multiplayer shooter Overwatch.

Dubbed the Titan Tracer, named after the quirky British in-game character Tracer, the system features an orange interior Overwatch glow.

While it’s not an officially licensed Overwatch PC, it’s designed to capture the flavour of the game.

Okay, let’s break it down!

It features a Intel Core i3-6100 CPU, Ballistix Sport LT 8GB memory (up to 16GB), a 1TB Seagate SSHD hybrid drive (or Samsung 850 Evo SSD), an ASUS GTX 960 or AMD R9 380X graphics card, a 600W PSU and an ASUS Z170-E motherboard, starting from £778. Nerf this, indeed.

It also comes with Windows 10 and a three-year warranty.

Overclockers says in the product description: "Overclockers UK have developed this system designed to offer a smooth, high quality gaming experience without any unnecessary bloat which can strike at your bank balance."

Ever get that feeling of déjà vu? The Titan Tracer is one of several PCs Overclockers builds based on certain games. It has been building systems like this for years, and has produced machines including Aliens vs Predator PCs in the past.

Overclockers’ only fully-licensed system is the Eve: Valkyrie.

Steven Levitt, Overclockers UK PR manager, told PCR: "More customers are wanting to buy a gaming PC around a new game release. This is why we have a dedicated range of gaming PCs that we have extensively tested across hundreds of different hardware configurations to find out the best configuration for that game.

"We have even colour-coded the PCs so they look the part too."

Cheers, love!
