Westcoast to offer barcode solutions thanks to new partnership with Wasp

IT distributor Westcoast has added Wasp Barcode Technologies to its solutions portfolio.

As Westcoast looks to broaden its solutions, this new partnership with offer inventory control, assets tracking, time and attendance, barcode scanners, and POS solutions to help small businesses improve profitability.

Alex Tatham, sales and marketing director at Westcoast was notably excited about this partnership: “The addition of Wasp Barcode technologies to the Westcoast portfolio is a great step forward for the company as Wasp Barcode solutions perfectly compliments our focus on HP EPOS systems and Wasps extensive range of products will also aid in expanding our solutions base for our customers.”

Hugh Furness, UK sales director of Wasp commented: “We are very cautious about signing new distributors, because we could just be moving product from one distributor to another. Westcoast is the UK’s most established distributor for IT products and is a key account for us. We have been in talks together during the last year and the relationship has now come together. We feel very positive about this agreement, it will bring Wasp products to a whole new segment of customers in the UK and Ireland.”
