Distributor Midwich has announced that Lloyd Platt and Chris Bloxsome have joined the Samsung specialist team.
In their new roles, Lloyd becomes senior product manager and Chris Bloxsome becomes specialist. Both will be focusing on large format display, commercial and hotel TV.
Midwich recently announced the hiring of 30 new employees across a range of positions and locations.
Platt was previously product manager for projection and also has worked within sales for Midwich Group over the last 10 years. He has achieved senior status within the product management team and now sets out to manage the Samsung Commercial AV offering for Midwich in the UK and Ireland.
Bloxsome, meanwhile, joined Midwich in 2003 and has experience across sales, having managed some of Midwich’s biggest AV accounts.
Platt commented: “Samsung is the largest vendor within our Commercial AV category, and I’m very much looking forward to the journey ahead with Samsung. Samsung’s team really engages with Midwich on a daily basis and understands what we can deliver."
Bloxsome added: “There are some exciting products on the horizon and I’m looking forward to working in partnership with Samsung bringing them to market.”
Midwich has been a partner of Samsung since the mid 90’s, launching its first mono laser printer.
