Giant Surface tablet and Dizzee Rascal turn up at Trafalgar Square

Microsoft has plonked a giant Surface tablet in the middle of Trafalgar Square.

Londoners are being encouraged to take a picture of themselves on the huge tablet for a chance to win a signed Dizzee Rascal Surface 2 cover.

The event marks the launch of the Surface 2 and Surface Pro tablets.

Microsoft also tweeted a pic showing the rapper himself ‘having a go’ on the giant Surface.

Those hoping to get their hands on a signed cover simply have to tweet a pic of themselves with the tablet using the hashtag #GiantSurface before 6:30pm today.

This isn’t the first time a massive tablet has appeared in a public place. Last year, toy manufacturer Mattel unveiled a giant iPad at Westfield London shopping centre.
