The stylus could launch in Q2 this year

Apple to create stylus for upcoming rumoured ‘iPad Pro’

Apple is allegedly considering its own stylus for its upcoming ‘iPad Pro’.

The rumous have come from Min-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities, who was also responsible for revealing other secrets including the Apple Watch release.

Kuo has revealed that Apple has a number of stylus-related patents, which suggest the company will launch a stylus in Q2 this year.

Apple Insider reports that Apple will launch the device as an optional add-on for its rumoured 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

According to Apple Insider, Kuo wrote: “Given that it’s more precise than a person’s fingers, a stylus can be more convenient to use than the combination of keyboard and mouse in some cases.

"Therefore, we believe Apple’s stylus will improve the user experience of 12.9-inch iPad."

This news comes after rumours alleged that the Apple will launch its upcoming Apple Watch in March.

The device will cost $349 and will feature its own OS.
