ASUS launches FX hard drive with Aura Sync RGB lighting

ASUS has launched the new FX HDD, the world’s first 2.5-inch external hard drive featuring Aura Sync RGB lighting technology.

The devices offers up 16 million colour options and works with other Aura-enabled products to let gamers create a system with synchronised lighting harmony.

Available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, the ASUS FX HDD has USB 3.1 Gen 1 connectivity and optional 256-bit AES encryption. Additionally, ASUS engineers performed stringent 24/7 stress testing on the hard drive to ensure reliability and data integrity.

Built for gamers and gaming enthusiasts, the ASUS FX HDD hard drive has a futuristic design with a textured finished that offers up a better grip to avoid accidental drops and prevent fingerprint smudges.

The new HDD comes with software that provides a complete and easy-to-use backup solution, including automatic scheduling of PC data backups as well as social media, cloud storage and wireless mobile data backups.
