Maverick AV Solutions has appointed Naina Tailor as its new UK sales director. She will lead customer engagement as the company expands its AV/IT customer base with new manufacturer partnerships and global capabilities.
Tailor joined the team shortly after Maverick’s recent partnership announcements with Huddly and Microsoft, which complement its portfolio of smart meeting and signage solutions. With over 15 years’ experience in the industry, Tailor has built her career working with Sony UK, Lenovo and most recently Midwich.
Her background of both manufacturer and distribution roles has given Tailor extensive technical knowledge and deep customer relationships. Having been awarded a place at Lenovo’s presidents club for two consecutive years, her focus on customer experience and developing a specialist team will help to strengthen Maverick’s position in the UK market.
With expertise in managing different channels, she successfully launched a reseller channel programme and portal within Sony UK, and led a technical sales division at Midwich, which looked after 19 brands covering video wall processing, digital signage, connectivity, video conferencing and collaboration.
“The move to the Maverick team is an exciting step and one where I’ll be able to develop both the internal and external sales teams, as well as maintaining the business a distributor of choice for the AV channel. Maverick already has a brilliant client portfolio and has positioned itself at the forefront of where the industry is moving, so I will be supporting growth with both my technical specialism and team development skills, delivering
exceptional value and service to our customers,” said Tailor.
Anna-Marie Constantinou, business unit director for Maverick UK, added: “Naina is a well known face in the AV industry with 20 years experience from both manufacturer and distribution roles. We are at an exciting point for the business with lots of new introductions to the portfolio and she will help us to deliver excellent service for our customers in both the AV and IT channels. We have a host of new services to support the introduction of new convergent technologies on our portfolio which she will help us to promote to give more value to our integrator partners.”
Tailor will be based in the Basingstoke HQ for Maverick UK, which has demonstration facilities for the portfolio of smart signage and meeting technologies.
