MSI has announced a distribution deal with Micro-P that will see the UK firm become its latest partner.
Micro P’s director Mark Kahr said that the deal was crucial as netbooks increasingly became a leading driver of industry growth.
"With the emerging Netbook products looking to explode in the UK market, it is crucial that Micro P align itself with a strong netbook partners.
"MSI is a brand it was difficult to overlook with such positive feedback from the market and our customers, which was supported by many industry awards for the MSI Wind," Kahr said.
Commenting on the deal, MSI’s UK sales director Joanne Yi said: "We believe that Micro-P will be a valuable addition to our current distribution network.
"MSI has been manufacturing premium PC components for over 20 years, so Micro-P philosophy of offering quality products & service to their customers will help us maintain our market share and further grow the MSI brand in the UK market," she added.
"The decision to partner with MSI was an easy one as I have no doubt it will carve a place in the netbook arena," added Kahr.
