CHANNEL EXPO 2009: Vendor displays a variety of branded peripherals

Microsoft showcases hardware range

Microsoft is showing a range of PC peripherals at this years Channel Expo, including webcams and wireless keyboards and mice.

Although Microsoft was not giving out any information on Windows 7, the vendor was showing its Explorer wireless mice with blu track technology, which had been optimised for Windows Live, and a complete range of webcams that feature 3D effects software as standard.

"It’s been a good show so far, we’ve had a constant flow of visitors," said Microsoft’s John Horton. "The Channel Expo is a great opportunity to mingle with the people who really make a difference. Talking to the resellers and retailers here is a good way of indirectly engaging with the end consumer."
