Scientists in Japan have invented a robotic hand that cannot be beaten at ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’, ever.
The robotic hand, created by scientists at the University of Tokyo, is designed to ‘see’ which of the three hand-shapes its human rival is about to choose.
The advance motion sensing technology is imperceptible to the human eye, meaning that the robot knows what you’re choosing, then picks the correct counterpart before you’ve had the chance to change your mind.
With a 100 per cent winning rate, the robot responds to the hand shape recognition camera in just one millisecond. That technically counts as cheating, probably.
