Intel is showing its latest range of products, developed to meet the greater demand for mobility and efficiency, at this year’s Channel Expo.
The global vendor is using its main booth to showcase its new 2010 range of Core i5 and i3 processors, specifically highlighting the products integrated graphics support, which allows a laptop to handle the full range of everyday tasks in HD without the need for integrated or discrete graphics support.
At its EntaTech stand, Intel is also demonstrating the capabilities of these processors and the advantages offered by the hyperthreading capacity brought in by architectural changes in the Core i5 and i7, as well as the performance increase offered by its Turbo Boost technology, which monitors workloads and automatically overclocks the processor when necessary.
Its range of micro-ITX form factor motherboards are also on display with Intel’s spokesman saying that there is now a micro-ATX board to work with every Intel chipset and declaring the end of traditional beige box desktop PCs.
