Multinational distie Exertis has announced a new distribution agreement with office equipment-maker Fellowes. Exertis will supply Fellowes’ workspace wellbeing, data security and cleansing products to resellers and retailers. They will have access to a wide portfolio, including ergonomic products, sit stand workstations, security shredders and privacy filters, and workspace cleaning supplies.
David Butler, Exertis head of accessories said: “Fellowes is an established and reputable brand, and can offer our customers an attach and additional margin opportunity on a range of products that are applicable to any size of company in any market.
With the need for companies to be compliant with DSE legislation and the forthcoming GDPR laws, Fellowes provides a great range of office ergonomic solutions, the protection of visual data using privacy filters and the disposal of printed data through the use of shredders.”
The announcement follows on from research commissioned from Fellowes that highlights the need to promote active working. It revealed that businesses across Europe currently lose €73 billion (around £64 billion) annually due to employee sickness with a third suffering daily from ailments caused by working at a computer.
