DMSL, distributor of broadband connectivity and hosted services, has described the response to the launch of Virgin Media Business’s channel programme as the best it has ever seen from resellers.
More than 50 partners have signed up within the first week of the campaign.
The company kicked-off its recruitment for Virgin Media Business’s ultra-fast broadband services after being appointed as one of its main distributors at the end of March.
DMSL partnered with Virgin Media Business has also been confirmed as the Headline Partner at PCR Boot Camp 2016, which takes place at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, May 18th.IT retailers and resellers can sign up to attend for free here.
The response to the channel programme has been immediate and positive, says John Carter, MD of DMSL.
“This is without question the best ever launch we have been involved in taking to the channel. We have never been contacted by so many resellers in such a short period of time," he said.
"The response has been tremendously positive. We have already started to take orders from some partners and it’s very clear to us that Virgin Media Business is going to be a big success with SMB resellers.”
Carter believes that the response is due to growing demand for fast connectivity to enable hosted and cloud services.
“More businesses want to make use of hosted VoIP, Office 365 and other cloud services and apps now," he added. "To do that, they need fast broadband and plenty of bandwidth. They want it to be affordable and simple and that’s exactly what Virgin Media Business gives them.”
To help partners boost early uptake of the ultra-fast services, DMSL has launched a special offer that gives customers who buy Virgin Media Business’ 200Mbps service three months free, with £15 per month line rental to pay.
