Tech Data will now distribute MEDION’s range of high-spec ERAZER gaming systems and AKOYA laptops.
While the German vendor is part of the Lenovo group and is already a well-known brand in the UK and Europe, availability of MEDION systems has been limited in the UK and Ireland to date.
The agreement with Tech Data means that all retailers and resellers will now be able to offer the company’s consumer and SMB computing products, taking advantage of the distributor’s advanced logistics, nationwide overnight delivery, stock-holding capability, and comprehensive finance and credit facilities to maximise sales of MEDION’s full range.
MEDION is a “significant and valuable addition” to the Tech Data portfolio, said Christian Cox, Business Development Manager (Gaming) at Tech Data, UK.
“MEDION is already a well-known and respected name, renowned for the incredible combination of high-grade specifications and competitive pricing that it offers. It occupies a quite distinct niche in the market, so it’s a fantastic addition to our portfolio,” he said.
The company is currently best-known for its ERAZER series of gaming laptops, PCs and accessories. Within this range, there are models suited to all needs and budgets. The ERAZER X-Series is designed for hardcore gamers, with features such as illuminated keys and the latest Intel CPUs and NVIDIA graphics cards.
The ERAZER P-Series is aimed at more casual game-players, offering attractive specs at lower entry points.
