Azlan and IGEL have unveiled plans to make 2016 the year of the managed workspace, as they work together to ensure partners meet the needs of enterprises.
Azlan, the enterprise value added distribution business of Tech Data, is supporting the efforts of virtual desktop solutions provider IGEL Technology. IGEL will be briefing Authorised IGEL Partners (AIPs) on new marketing and training programmes at its forthcoming product roadmap at a trio of roadshows, which are taking place this month throughout the UK. Azlan will be supporting IGEL at these events.
The company is ‘setting the pace’ in the managed workspace market with its Universal Management Suite (UMS), which allow organisations to monitor and control workspaces and devices, maximising efficiency and minimising costs. IGEL’s Universal Desktop Converter (UDC) can be used alongside UMS to convert any PC, notebook or thin client into an ‘IGEL’ client so that it can be administered using UMS.
“Both IGEL and Azlan see exciting opportunities in the managed workspace market,” said David White, workspace transformation practice manager at Azlan.
“Enterprise organisations are looking for ways to manage and control desktop and client devices under a single, virtualised environment and with UMS and UDC they can manage all kinds of devices through a single pane of glass. We’ll be working with IGEL to support and educate partners and give them the tools they need to drive new business.”
