Value-added distributor CMS Distribution has acquired TNS Connect from PCH. TNS Connect is an award winning distributor of emerging technologies and accessories, headquartered in Ireland but also operating in the UK, mainland Europe, Australia and China. CMS Distribution hopes that this acquisition will further strengthen its position as Europe’s leading IT specialist distributor.
Founder and CEO of CMS Distribution, Frank Salmon, commented on the acquisition, saying: “We are delighted to welcome TNS Connect to the group. Following the acquisition, CMS Distribution will now employ over 300 people across the group with a very strong foothold in Europe covering the UK, Ireland, France, Benelux and Scandinavia. CMS will continue to run the business under TNS Connect’s brand for the foreseeable future and TNS’s leadership and management team will remain, continuing to focus on the growth of the business.
