BullGuard teams up with Fierce PC to sponsor new UK esports organisation

BullGuard has announced a new partnership to “protect and boost” the UK gaming scene.

The cybersecurity company is teaming up with Fierce PC to sponsor its recently-launched UK-based Fierce Esports organisation.

Fierce PC is a bespoke builder of high-spec gaming rigs for dedicated gamers. By launching its very own UK Esports organisation, Fierce Esports, and from having one of the UK’s most up-and-coming CS:GO teams, Fierce PC believes there is a lot of potential to put its footprint in the UK esport scene.

Fierce PC has identified some of the biggest esport titles to get involved with including; Counter Strike: Global Offensive, PUBG, Battalion 1944, League of Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League and many more.

BullGuard’s sponsorship reflects its tech endeavours in gaming with the inclusion of Game Booster in its Antivirus, Internet Security and Premium Protection products.

BullGuard’s patent-pending Game Booster optimises CPU performance for noticeably smoother gaming with a faster frame rate and no game lag. “Game Booster isn’t simply another component in security software. It’s the best game boosting technology available,” said the firm.

“We are very much looking forward to sponsoring Fierce PC’s Esports team and are excited to be involved within the rapidly growing Esports industry. Gamers are equally vulnerable to all sorts of malware so by sponsoring Fierce PC’s Esports, we hope more gamers will become aware of BullGuard’s game boosting capabilities and its award-winning protection,” said Steve Hicks, head of global sales at BullGuard.

BullGuard was recently proven to be the fastest Antivirus solution for PC for gamers according to tests carried out by award-winning PC builder Chillblast. ChillBlast tested the gaming performance of computers running BullGuard Internet Security, Norton Internet Security, McAfee Internet Security, Kaspersky Internet Security, AVG Internet Security and Windows Defender. “Not only did BullGuard Internet Security come out on top, its Game Booster acceleration even made it faster than a system with no antivirus installed,” explained BullGuard.
