Best Buy launches wedding registry tech gift service

Best Buy is launching its own wedding registry service, where couples will be able to pick their desired tech wedding gifts.

The US electronics store will give brides and grooms-to-be the chance to add Best Buy’s tech products to their gift list, including small appliances and majaps.

The Best Buy Wedding Registry will launch on February 16th, where ccouples will be able to create their lists online or via Best Buy’s app.

In-store kiosks will also be installed in all showrooms during early April where couples and gift-givers can view and print registry lists.

Wendy Fritz, heads of gifting strategy at Best Buy, said: “Electronics and small appliances are as important to today’s newlyweds as silverware and towels.

“The Best Buy Wedding Registry has the gifts that couples want and need – and that both brides and grooms can get excited about.”

Other features couples will have access to include free shipping on all gifts, 10 per cent off registry completion and a group gifting option.
