BenQ launches two ultra-short throw projectors for the modern home

The arrival of  two UHD ultra-short throw 3000 lumen laser projectors from BenQ delivers high-tech features to create the perfect home cinema.

The new projectors, the V6050 and V6000, are the first ultra-short throw additions to BenQ’s projection portfolio and come as a stylish alternative to large scale televisions over 65” diagonal. Available in black (V6050) or white (V6000), in a simplistic and contemporary design.

The sleek soundbar comes in the form of 2 x 5W Trevolo Speakers built into the front panel, offering professional sound quality. The top of the projector features a smooth automatic sliding door to protect the optical lens from dust when not in use.

With 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) 100” diagonal image when positioned just 23cm away from the projection surface, the projector houses side extendable rulers to guide into position for optimal and speedy alignment based on image size.

The projectors are the ideal alternative for consumers searching for a borderless high-resolution television to futureproof modern living room spaces and home theatres.

BenQ has integrated a motion sensor into the device to cut the light source when anyone is too close, ensuring protection of the eyes. At 3000 lumens, the projector competes easily with well-lit and ambient spaces.

Superb image reproduction and colour accuracy is supported by CinemaMaster Video Enhancer, HDR10 and HDR Pro, with the colour gamut reaching near Rec.709 96% and DCI-P3 98%. For avid film enthusiasts, the projectors are 3D compatible and utilise a 4K Motion and Pixel Enhancer.
