Steve Ballmer has told Korean executives that while enterprise IT spending will see growth, a full blown recovery is not likely to happen.
According to the Washington Post, Ballmer stated that global business purchases of PCs and servers were down by around 15 per cent, and were unlikely to fully recover due to a general lack of investable capital.
“The economy went through a set of changes on a global basis over the course of the last year which are, I think is fair to say, once in a lifetime,” commented Ballmer. “While we will see growth, we will not see recovery.”
