Distributor Entatech UK has appointed Ellie Farley as Microsoft product manager.

The firm says it has cemented its place as the leading Microsoft Server and Windows OEM distributor in the UK, and through its strong working relationship with Microsoft and its customers.

The addition of Farley to the team is expected to augment Entatech’s ambitions as it invests further in its promotion of more of the Microsoft stack through marketing campaigns and reseller incentives throughout the duration of 2016.

Farley, who previously worked for the distributor for five years, will be working towards increasing Entatech’s market share, whilst assisting customers with the successful upsell from Windows Home to Pro.

She will also lead the distributor’s licensing business and front up Entatech’s DPaaS (Digital Platform as a Service) for Entatech’s electronic software fulfilment.

“Ellie is no stranger to Entatech’s reseller partners and was one of the reasons why our Microsoft business grew so much. Ellie’s return will cement the existing foundations and provide a fantastic platform for our ambitious growth plans,” said Dave Stevinson, Entatech’s managing director.

“Our investment in Microsoft software has been extensive in early 2016 and we are looking to increase our headcount to capitalise on new marketing and product initiatives. By reintroducing Ellie to the team, this demonstrates our commitment to Microsoft and the partners.”

The return of Farley to the team is one of many big changes Entatech are making over the coming months. Along with its continued Microsoft commitments, Entatech is looking to increase its dominance within the PC gaming space.

As the leading supplier to some of the UK’s best PC gaming manufacturers including Gigabyte, SteelSeries, Fractal Design, MadCatz, Corsair, HyperX, ASUS, NVIDIA, Arctic and Cooler Master; Entatech is looking to combine its successes with Microsoft to increase breadth and further boost its market share throughout the gaming space.

The news of Farley’s return follows the recent launch of Entatech’s PC Retour brand, its range of fully refurbished PC hardware and devices, authorised by Microsoft.
