Acer launches G-Sync monitors, Chromebook and more at CES

Acer have launched a range of new products at this year’s CES in Las Vegas from gaming monitors that claim to be a world first, to 5th Gen Intel Core processors and super fast wireless networking across mobile.

Here is a quick round up of those products.

XB270HU Nvidia G-Sync gaming monitor

This new monitor is fitted with IPS technology, using brand new technology that eliminates screen tearing and minimises display stutter and input lag.

It will be available in the Q1 of this year starting at €699.

XG270HU Nvidia G-Sync gaming monitor

Acer describes this as the world’s first gaming monitor with edge-to-edge frameless display, maximising viewing area. It also boasts a rapid one-millisecond response time meaning transitions will be seemless.

This will also be released in Q1 of this year, starting at €499.

Acer Chromebook 15

The new Chromebook has an industry first 15.6-inch display and is powered by 5th Generation Intel Core i3 and Intel Celeron processors. It also benefits from Acer ComfyView displays, significantly reducing eyestrain.

The Chromebook will be available this month starting at €329.

5th Generation Intel Core Processors added to R 13 notebooks

The new and improved processors will be built into its Acer’s line of R 13 convertible notebooks, and the S7 Ultrabooks. These devices will also be equipped with the newest 802.11ac wireless spec for fast and reliable internet connections.

The R 13 will be available this month starting at €999, and the S7 series also available this month, starting at €1,199.

Acer H7550ST Projector

This new projector expels large images of up to 7.6m, has a hidden wireless adapter that connects with smartphones, laptops and Chromebooks. It also has the ability to stream HD audio to a wireless Bluetooth, speaker or soundbar.

This will be released in March starting at €999.

Revo One Entertainment Centre

The Revo One RL85 is a small personal computer designed to act as a family’s entertainment centre. It enables users to share multimedia and stream content, it has huge storage does the job of multiple entertainment devices.

The RL85 will be available in Europe from January, starting at €269.

Liquid Z410 4G Smartphone

Acer’s new smartphone is a 4.5 inch device boasting 4G LTE Connectivity support and 64-bit quad-core processor boosting speed and power. It also come with a five megapixel voice-command camera with brand new UI and shooting modes, and uses a DTS Studio Sound feature for improved audio.

The Liquid Z410 will be available in EMEA at the end of February starting at €129.

Intel RealSense 3D Camera

Brand new Aspire V 17 Nitro notebooks will now come with an Intel RealSense 3D camera built in. This will enable users to interact with games, open web pages or navigate apps without touching the device.

Notebooks featuring the RealSense Camera will be launched this month starting at €1,299.
