Morris has over 30 years of business development experience in the sector, previously he worked for major operators including TNT, DHL and other transport and logistics organisations.

Gary will be working alongside Brother’s reseller and ISV partners to help businesses create efficiencies in their operations by using label printing as part of Auto-ID systems.

Ged Cairns, Head of Auto ID Business Unit at Brother UK said:“The UK has more than 18 million sq. ft. of speculative warehouse space under construction*. Gary’s wealth of experience and contacts throughout the industry will help us to effectively support the technology requirements of the fast-growing transport and logistics sector.

“He will develop on our unique position of being the only provider of mobile, desktop and industrial labelling machines alongside leading inkjet and laser devices, making us a one-stop-shop for warehouses’ printing needs.”

Gary Morris, Senior End User Client Manager for Transport and Logistics said:“Transport and logistics businesses are experiencing high demand while also facing strong headwinds in the form of staff shortages and higher operational costs. The effective use of Auto-ID and label printing technology enables operators to maximise productivity while minimising error, helping them overcome challenges and go after more opportunities.
