Stream Keyboard TKL

Cherry’s Stream Keyboard TKL with ergonomic compact dimensions

Cherry’s latest addition to its Stream line is the Stream Keyboard TKL.

Special feature of this line include Cherry’s SX scissor technology, which is meant to give the ideal point for precise execution and a whisper-quiet keystroke. Other features such as status LEDs for Caps Lock and Scroll Lock as well as six practical additional keys for controlling multimedia applications, which are otherwise only used in higher price ranges, have also been included in the new version. Cherry Keys software is available to assign further individual additional functions to the keys.

Compact TKL version ideal for business use
The wired TKL version has the same main keypad as the Stream keyboard. but has been reduced in size by removing the numeric keypad. For those who hardly use the numeric keypad, this compact version saves space on the desk. This version is ideal for 19 inch racks due to its smaller dimensions. For tougher work environments, the WetEx protective film is available as an accessory.

The reduced dimensions bring the mouse and keyboard closer together, so for right-handed users, this allows the right arm to be kept closer to the body, which is claimed to be an optimised working posture and avoids poor posture. The theory that compact computer keyboards counteract tension as well as pain in the areas of the back, hands, arms and neck is confirmed by the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV).
