Black Box and Avaya Team Up on UCaaS Solutions

Black Box and Avaya are partnering to offer Black Box clients communications and cloud-based collaboration solutions built on Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral. This makes Black Box an Avaya Cloud Office-certified partner in Europe and a strategic partner for Avaya OneCloud UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) and OneCloud CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) solutions around the world.

“We are thrilled to have Black Box join us as an agent for Avaya Cloud Office and as an Avaya partner in the UK and Europe,” said Ali Hastings, senior channel director, Avaya UK&I. “The extensive customer base that Black Box has across the market will help us accelerate the adoption of Avaya Cloud Office across Europe at a time when unified communications are becoming more important by the day.”

In its “Work from Anywhere” study, Avaya found that in the wake of COVID-19, nearly 72 percent of businesses surveyed are rethinking how they work; 58 percent feel remote working is enabling them to hire a more distributed workforce; and 8 out of 10 are retooling to provide improved customer and employee experiences. In addition, the study found that 3 out of 4 businesses are focusing more on employee and team communications, including cloud solutions.

Avaya OneCloud UCaaS offerings are redefining business operations by delivering seamless UC&C solutions that provide all-in-one voice, video, team messaging, file sharing, and fax services. More flexible and cost-effective than legacy on-premises PBX and video conferencing systems, the cloud solutions empower mobile, distributed, and work-from-home workforces to connect via any mode, any device, and any location.

“Avaya facilitates and improves communications between and among employees and customers no matter where they are located. We surround the solutions with support services to ensure successful migrations no matter the size or location(s) of the customer,” said Matt Thomas, vice president and general manager — EMEA, Black Box. “That’s a powerful combination, and that’s why we are so pleased to be offering the Avaya suite of communications solutions to our customers. Customers that want global coverage with a local presence can rely on Black Box for Avaya support and come to us for all Avaya questions.”
